Mr. Reggie Byram and Ashgrove House Publishing Limited

Mr Reggie Sharp Byram, AKA Reggie Sharp, AKA Reggie Byram, AKA Harry Taylor, AKA Jennifer Jackson, AKA James Lansbury to name but a few has over the last 10 plus years not been the ethical and upfront owner of many publishing businesses as he would like you believe. He openly states he has only had two companies.
and formely of:
Random Publishing,
Cromwell Publishing,
1st Century publishing,
Vista House publishing,
and several other publishing houses. This list and his many other comapnies are "NOT ONLY TWO COMPANIES"
He has been named and shamed by
Injured vanity costs aspiring author £3000.00.
On the face of it, he appears to be an Honest, Genuine upfront person, a gentleman by appearance and voice does not need to hide behind any aliases unless there is something serious to hide.
Mr Byram has chosen to hide behind his many deceiptful aliases and continue this sharade over many years and to present day with all the authors along with the authors of Kinglake Publishing Limited.
Mr Byram is quite happy to deceive authors with his many aliases, in his eyes he thinks he is doing no wrong, his excuse is "There has never been any illegality regarding the use of names. It is true that I have used many pseudonyms when I have published with Pearson International (Longman, Heinemann), Macmillan and with other major publishers. This is established practice within publishing."
It is acceptable as an author but this is NOT ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR or normal practice for an "upfront and ethical" editor and a director of the same Limited company to do this to authors unless they have something to hide.

Author Diana Daneri who had suffered great expense at the hands of Mr Reggie Byram aka Harry Taylor aka Jennifer Jackson over the November/December of 2010 period with costly spelling mistakes, ignoring her repeated requests for the edits etc, a list too long to mention here but can be found on her new website blog dianadaneri.sytes.net.

On Diana Daneri's website she tells you how she got into writing, her struggles to get a publisher, the troubles of vanity publishers and her fears of the unknown with publicity and book signings. Her fight should inspire you.
Diana's list of 4 books starts with Kristina's Destiny, Andrew's Destiny, Colleen's Destiny which is in the last part of being published and then finishing with Colleen's Final Destiny awaiting to be published.

Read all about Diana's struggle to get her dreams from laptop to paperback and published.

Yesterday 17th February 2011 we received a very worrying email from Mr Reggie Byram.
This man has stated that all the authors of the soon to be disolved/shutdown Kinglake Publishing Limited will be unable to have their books republished, and we quote direct from his email:

The trade has been informed that it should not sell any books that came originally from Kinglake Publishing Ltd, or any other seeking to pass off as that company.

It would appear that Mr Reggie Byram feels "If He cannot have the authors publishing business, then no other publisher can, He will destroy it" - that is what he is saying in effect. Hardly good business practice.

Mr Reggie Byram on the 12th January 2011 registered 2 domain names along with another limited company, then after sending Mr Reggie Byram of Kinglake Publishing Limited my invoice dated 11th January 2011 all backed up with documentary evidence and not some onesided "he said/she said" Mr Reggie Byram's version of a gentleman's agreement without any documented proof:

www.ashgrovehousepublishing.co.uk
www.ashgrovehousepublishing.com

and the limited company named
Ashgrove House Publishing Limited

This was long before his wild accusations and threats of action then offering me an unrealistic amount of money for my services to him and his limited company in the sum of £2522.00.
Mr Byram refused to honour his gentelman's agreement that I would in December 2010 put my invoice in for the services provided and get paid.
In January 11th 2011 I sent him my invoice, he refused to pay the invoice for the amount of £13500.00 for services provided over a period of 13 months. He said "Kinglake Publishing Ltd cannot pay your 'invoice'; it is retrospective and inauthentic." However his solicitors state and I quote:" You have rendered an invoice to the company which is in dispute and which, in any event, it does not have the means to pay".
He cannot pay this invoice as the company does not have the money.
My departure came about because Mr Byram made several costly mistakes with authors text "inners" The authors involved with Mr Reggie Byram and Kinglake Publishing Limited know what these errors are.

It now appears that Mr Byram did not want to pay for what he had ordered, he wanted it all for nothing, himself!, he himself brought all this trouble on because he could not afford to pay for the services he commisioned and then in a last ditch attempt registers a new limited company knowing that he will be protected behind this limited company as many time before, to continue his deceipt with his historic pattern to hide his real name as shown in the court case here Injured vanity costs aspiring author £3000.00.
